Stellar Storm was published in 2023.
It tells the tale of a galactic war. Briefly put: in the 2500s man has created a space empire. It is a thriving, Faustian state, with rule of law and meritocracy as the basic ideals.
However, in the year of 2559 this empire is attacked by an alien being, the Saurian. This is the beginning of a war lasting until 2568.

The timeline for this saga is as follows. First we have the early days of space exploration, like this:
2000s – beginning of man’s exodus into space from Earth. As the prime endeavor, Mars is terraformed and colonized, making it into the first sizeable space colony. Then Venus goes the same way.
2092 – the treaty of Charta Mundi secures the existence of every people in its place of origin. The treaty soon becomes the basis of a state, the Charta Mundi State, a republican statehood encompassing Earth, Mars, and Venus.
2100s – colonization of three nearby solar systems, symbolized by the planets Jannoka, Gundur, Bononsia, and Cressida. The conquests are led by the Swedish hero Mikael Rogesmatt (2127-2219), and the acronym of his name forms the stem of the label for the emerging interstellar state – Mirotania – that is, MI plus RO plus a suffix typical of country names, TANIA (like “Occitania, Tasmania, Pennsylvania” etc.). Another figure putting his stamp on the times is adept Nanvel Storness, 2103-2198, a perennial mystic.
2234 – Treaty of Skirodsa, founding the Mirotanian Empire by the principles of rule of law, habeas corpus and the freedom of life, liberty and expression. The Imperial citizens’ rights and obligations were delineated in the treaty text, forming the Mirotanian Constitution, also stating that the Empire would be ruled by a President elected every four years, have an Assembly to assist in ruling the Empire, and be protected by a space fleet and an army. The various solar systems of the Empire – M-1, M-66, M-78 etc. – would be governed by stattholders, elected every four years.
That was the political and astrographical background.
Next, a major event in this space opera is the career of Sweyn Bostron, a Faustian hero of the sf kind. He is the man symbolizing the Saurian War, so to speak. This is the bare-bones plot of Stellar Storm:
2541, 16 December – Sweyn Bostron born on Jannoka in the system M-66.
2559, 2 June – the outbreak of the Saurian War with the space battle of the Abyss, followed by the Saurian attack on man’s empire and the occupying of four of his five solar systems.
2559, August – Bostron called up into the Mirotanian army.
2564, March – Satapas and Avoosl raids.
2565, 10 May – Mirotania joins the interstellar Federation of Clinsians, Sideranians, Attarcanians and Igoziliacs.
2565, 21 October – Battle of Elkopeiru Gap.
2566 – Dirosa Montel re-elected as president on a plank calling for the build-up of a one-million-man army.
2567, 4 April – Federation landing on Cressida.
2567, September – surrender of last Saurian units on Cressida.
2567, November – space battle of Fnagert.
2567, December – Federation takes Boney in M-31, the Saurian home system. Bostron graduates from the Imperial War Academy as Second Lieutenant.
2568, January – Federation landing on Duriko-Da, the Saurian heartland.
2568, 12 March – surrender of all Saurian armed forces.
2568, 17 July, Galactic Federation signing a peace treaty with Ressibatia, officially ending the Saurian War.
There you go. Get a grip of the whole saga in the novel at hand, Stellar Storm.
This book is rather unique. It is the first space fiction novel with a radical conservative outlook. This is a Faustian saga, a saga of Faustian man breaking free of Earth and creating a blessed livelihood on Mars, and among the stars.
