Good morning, disciple. Welcome to my diary.
It is autumn. And why not: a Swedish poet said that this "... is the spring the weak ones call autumn".
So I get around as usual.

Here's a poem I wrote in 2023. And it's still topical, still delivering that unspeakable preachment of mythopoetical qualities:
I am Viṣṇu, I am Kalki... I am Odin, I
am Frigga... I am Lakshmi, I am Brahma...
I am Shiva, I am Krishna... I am Freya, I
am Siv... I am Thor, I am Kristos...
This is the 21st century, this is Dvāpara Yuga,
and the gods are back... just look yourself
in the mirror... that divine spark in the eye,
that’s the soul, the true self... it’s divine...

I sit here and think about Quinta Essentia. About the fifth (Lat. quinta) element beyond earth, water, wind, and fire. In a recent Swedish entry I just spoke about this. So the following is a kind of translation and repetion. A "slight return", as Jimi Hendrix would say.
So we say: Quinta Essentia is the essence, the quintessence; the essence of essences. A rare stuff indeed, but known under many names.
And as a mere listing of synonyms to Quinta Essentia, I give you the following.
+++
First, synonyms from the realm of science: ether, action-at-a-distance, conatus (Spinoza), diamagnetism (Faraday), élan vital (Bergson), vitalism (Driesch), and finally, the fifth force beyond gravity, electromagnetism, and weak and strong nuclear interaction.
Further, general concepts for the quintessence are: mana, sidereal light, omnium (Flann O'Brien), Alpha and Omega (Dénis Lindbohm), azoth, kundalini, astral light, od, odyl, ka, chi, qi, ki, vafur, orgone, prâna, libido, la force tranquille. And the prima materia of the magnum opus.
Regarding food and drink bestowing quintessential power, we have: soma, ambrosia, scaldic mead, holy water, fiery water, water of life, manna from heaven.
Mythical figures symbolizing the quintessence are: Holy Ghost (pnevma tò hágion, parakletos, Spiritus Sanctus), Anima Mundi, Venus Urania, Abraxas.
Mythical objects of this force are: the snake biting its own tail, fountain of youth, elixir of life, philosopher's stone, rainbow, tree of life, river of life, Gral, the white stone with a new name (Apocalypse), caduceus, ankh-cross, the veil of Isis, the mantle of Cybele, the milk of the celestial virgin, chaos, St Elmo's fire, Apollo's torch, pentecostal fire-tongues, the burning bush in Exodus, the pillar of fire, the invisible gardner.

Quinta essentia. The fifth element.
I repeat, I repeat in the night:
It is the same as od, ka, vril, chi, qi.
It is the same as the Fountain of Youth, the Philosopher's Stone, and the Elixir of Life.
It is the same as the prima materia of the *magnum opus.
It is kundalini, prâna, akâsha.
It is the Holy Spirit, Anima Mundi, the World Soul, Venus Urania.
It is Abraxas.
It is the Mead of Poetry; and it is the Bifröst, the rainbow bridge to Asgard.
+++
Quinta essentia is the quintessence.
It is the Ankh cross. The rainbow. The Tree of Life, the River of Life. The Grail. The white stone with a new name.
It is vril, orgone, libido, mana, and manna. It is soma, ambrosia, firewater, holy water, the drink of life: uisce beatha.
+++
In science, it equates to dark energy, dark matter, free energy (Tesla), aether, action-at-a-distance. It is the fifth force beyond gravity, electromagnetism, and strong and weak nuclear interaction.
It is zero-point energy.
In Blavatsky’s terminology, it is sidereal light, the milk of the celestial virgin, chaos, St. Elmo’s fire, Apollo’s torch, the tongues of fire at Pentecost, as well as the burning bush and the pillar of fire from Exodus.
It is vitalism. It is faith healing.
It is Faraday’s diamagnetism and Spinoza’s conatus.
It is the parable of the invisible gardener.
It is the Veil of Isis and the Mantle of Cybele. It is Flann O'Brien’s Omnium.
It is Dénis Lindbohm’s "alpha and omega."
It is Bertel Gripenberg’s "secret glow."
+++
Hereby some poems on the theme of vril.
First, let us consider the aforementioned Gripenberg’s poem on the theme -- specifically, the title poem of his 1925 collection, Den hemliga glöden (The Secret Glow). There, in my translation, we read:
One worships the sun,
another the pale moon,
and yet another the misty stars.
One worships the sea,
another the heavy earth
---
One worships the winds and the air,
and another the fire,
the life-giving and destructive.
But I worship the secret glow
that I hide within my heart.
To avoid being kicked,
I have worshipped it
in solitude and secrecy;
I have sat and stared
down into the depths,
and at the bottom of the abyss
I have seen it glow and glow
in silent nights.
+++
Hereby a poem by myself on the theme. The name of it is Vril Commander:
I have mastered the use of Vril.+++
I am the Vril Commander.
I control the power within.
I am the Duke of Vril.
As I'm walking though this world,
nothing can stop the Duke of Vril...
+++
With willpower and vision
and by standing still
I get my fill -- of Vril.
Where anything is, Vril is --
and with Willpower and Vision
I have mastered the power within me --
the power of Vril.
+++
"By standing still"...?
Yea, verily. For Vril is equal to
the Chinese Chi, as in Tai Chi, a
technique to acknowledge the subtle
power within you -- and it's done
by standing still, just having equal
weight on both legs, the right hand
over your tummy and the left on top
of the right -- just stand in that
way and breathe slowly. Then you
acknowledge the power within --
the power of chi, qi, ki -- of od, ka
prâna, orgone -- of Vril.
+++
I have mastered the use of Vril.
I am the Vril Commander.
I have mastered the power within me,
the power of Vril.
+++
Becoming Vril Commander is not just
about being a superstar, a single
heroic gestalt -- it is cosmic,
macrobiotic, mythic, affecting
the whole culture.
It is about the sleeper awakening,
Kali Yuga ending, the iron
age evolving into a crystal age.
I am that shift of the ages.
I am the resurrection of the hero.
I am that sleeper awakeing.
I am Faustian man coming into
his own, the Trueman becoming True,
the superpower man realizing his
superpower: the power within, the
power of vril od ka chi qi --
the power of prâna kundalini
vafur od odyl -- the power of
powers, the power of NOW.
Hereby yet another Vril poem. The Swedish original was recently posted on this blog, in the diary entry for 5 October.
I worship in a red temple
with a blue carpet, yellow walls
and a green roof --
a temple of ruby
with a sapphire carpet, topaz walls
and a roof of tourmaline.
And in this temple reigns the Holy Spirit,
Anima Mundi, Venus Urania. I say:
Spiritus Sancte, veni in templum meum.
Here reigns the calm power, "la force
tranquille" -- which is the same as
vril, od, ka, chi, qi -- the same as
the tear from the eye of Horus, Abraxas,
Azoth, the astral light, direct
electricity in the atmosphere.
It is the power of powers, the goal of goals, the
purpose and meaning of all things: the fountain of youth,
the philosopher's stone, the prima materia for the magnum opus.
Yea, more than that: it is the Kundalini power,
the colors of the rainbow, the tree of life, the
celestial song of birds and the white stone
with a new name spoken of in the Apocalypse.
It is the mead of poetry, the Sampo,
the Vril-staff and "the steel commander," a
weapon only to be wielded by the Right One,
the man of willpower and vision, with
soul and spirit integrated, with
a calm mind and a balanced being.
It is élan vital and prana,
it is "the power of the coming race"—
the power of the true humans, the subtle power
drawn from the air -- pure air,
fresh air... just stand still, relax
and breathe through your nose -- then your
system is filled by Venus Urania, Anima
Mundi, Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, come...!
Holy Spirit, come...!
Come and touch us...!
Come and fill our lives...!
Come and satisfy our hunger,
our hunger for life force,
etheric power, calm power --
la force tranquille.
Such is my religion, such is
my temple. There is subtle
power in it, and colors --
there is a demonic red and
a holy blue and, in between,
a neutral green—and yellow;
who, in this context, can resist yellow?
"Mellow yellow," Yellow Submarine,
and all the rest -- my cult is
colorful, and now I shall go and
add everything I haven't yet mentioned
in the way of color, such as purple, turquoise,
orange, grass-green, pink, and mauve --
yea, even azure and reseda, bronze and
silver -- and all these hues shall adorn
my temple, where I whirl about
in a spinning dance within the
invisible yet palpable flow of the Vril power.
+++
The program of the Vril Commander is a system of mind, body, and energy. Mind: will to be superman. Body: the body is the substratum for all of it, the virtual temple where the magic is done. Energy: qi, ki, vril etc is the subtle energy to acknowledge.
Further, as intimated in the last poem, becoming Vril Commander is both a personal quest and a mythic-epic happening. Apart from living strong in your everyday it is also about the resurrection of the hero, the sleeper awakening, Kali Yuga ending, going from av iron age to a crystal age.
To be the reborn divine Self of True Mankind -- wielding the power of od -- saying, I have the power.
+++
Your body is your temple, your heart your altar – a sanctuary made for praising God, the Lord who made you, who lives inside of you by way of your soul spark. Your body is a temple for vital power, soma and manna, for vril, od and qi, for the Holy Ghost and the Anima Mundi; for Venus Urania and for Abraxas, the Veil of Isis and the Elixir of Life, and for the Golden Tear from the Eye of Horus.
Acknowledging the vital power, the élan vital inside you makes you radiant with beauty. A pure soul in a healthy body; mens sana in corpore sana. Jesus Christ was an advanced soul in a perfect physical body. What looks good is good –- the beautiful is the true –- essayism, mythopoesy, Stilwille: “L’homme et la style, c’est la même”. Ethics as aestethics. “Truth is beauty, beauty is truth” as John Keats said. Conversely, “many want to be ugly” as someone said. This could remind you of Nietzsche’s critique of Zola and Goncourt, realist mongrels reveling in the ugly and bizarre.
