The upcoming Evola book: update 3

As I've already told you, a new book by me is coming soon. -- Edit April: the book is out now.

New book: update 1
New book: update 2

You know it by now. My next book will be about Julius Evola.

And I've already told you what the book will be like: here and here.

Today I will tell you what Evola means for me personally.

+++

In the 90s I graduated from Uppsala University. As a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Indology. The study of ancient Sanskrit documents gave me a firm footing in Tradition™ -- though I didn't know it back then...!

I mean: I did know that I now had a solid base in something else than modern thought, nihilism, atheism, the curriculum otherwise taught at university. But that conceptual spin, that doctrinal framework of "this is Tradition, this is different from modernity" -- that was absent. I had only read some books by Prabhupâda, the Hindu missionaire for Sanâtana Dharma. That was a start.

Later, in 2007, I went out on the internet. Then I learned of the Traditional School, with names like Guénon, Schuon -- and Evola.

This was it...!

These men talked about something I could relate to.

This Traditional School taught a doctrine, subsuming studies in ancient languages (I had also studied classic Greek) into a conceptual-polemical stance, saying, as intimated, this is Tradition, this is different from modernity...!

+++

What was, then, the Traditional doctrine Evola preached? -- For this I refer to the upcoming book.

I will only say: Evola made me wise -- he made me wiser...!

This demands some explanation.

So I say: by the time I started buying and reading Evolian books -- in about 2010 -- I was already studied. I was already a well-read radical conservative. Spengler, Jünger, Nietzsche, Wagner, and Goethe, had alerady made me see things differently from the modernist nonsense otherwise proclaimed.

But these guys, though venerable, lack that extra spiritual depth. They lack that initiated strain of Evola and Guénon.

Therefore any true wiseman today must go beyond modern thought.

He must read the ontological classics.

And a first introduction into such a Traditionalism will be my book about Evola.

This is, in short, what Evola means to me and how you, too, can get wiser by employing the Traditional approach.

Svenssongalaxen recenserar: I teknohordens skugga (Olofsson 2025)

+++

+++

+++

+++

+++

Water and stillness (poem)

Today I will give you some poems... enjoy.

This is about poetry... song... poesy... and now it begins...

Water and stillness...

My mother was Scorpio... water and immutability...

I was Sagittarius... fire and mutability...

Water and stillness, fire and movement... quite a fine combo we were...

Philae temple, mirrored in the Nile... red sandstone, lined with greenery... water and stillness...

A man swimming in a grotto, a pool under a cavern roof... water blue-green, water still... water and stillness...

A canal in a Chinese town, ancient town, brick houses with wooden balconies... water and stillness...

San Antonio --

St Petersburg --

Saintly Petra, hewn out of the rock wall --

Half Dome and Moon... Utsikt över Skuru... Montmartre in the Moonlight.

... burgundy red Renault R16, jeweled headlights, suspension wheels... Chevy wrecker truck, yellow and green, BP livery... and "Alpine Rescue" Citroën... with sled, medic, and St Bernard dog... "hab' ich euch endlich"... all this, on a background of Ströms Vattudal in midnight claire obscure...

Pearl S. Buck, the duck with the bucks --

I live in Dharma Town, looking down on Clown Town --

I only live on prasâda, consecrated wine and bread... say grace and every meal becomes a feast with the gods...

World situation deliberation

This year, 2025, will probably be historical... great changes are occurring in the world.

Where to start...?

I guess: at the beginning.

If so, an ontological summary of the universe is needed.

And I've already written that. The beginning of it all, the battle between Light and Dark.

It was covered in Actionism -- How to Become a Responsible Man (2017). And also in Astral War -- Your Soul Is the Battlefield (2023).

I'm not primarily here to sell books... but I will only say, I know about what makes the universe tick.

Good and evil fight for mastery with the world as the battlefield. They fight with you as the battlefield.

That's how it's been since the dawn of time.

And now, to avoid a lengthy sermon on this epic narrative, let's fast forward to 2012.

+++

This year, 2012, was hyped as a breakthrough year. Evil powers would be defeated, mass arrests would occur, positive aliens would perform mass landings.

That was the message spread on the internet.

Then nothing came of it.

Next we had the first period of power for American president Donald J. Trump (henceforward: DJT). In 2016-2020.

Again promising prospects were intimated. Again, in defeating evil, nothing had been accomplished when DJT was defeated in the 2020 election.

+++

Then came 2024...

I had a feeling of: now something must happen. Something to break the stalemate.

The past four years, yea, the past 30 years, had seen cultural stagnation. Political correctness had been in charge. And as an author I had made a stance against this "woke" agenda, protesting against the oppression.

Read Actionism, and read Astral War to see proofs of my preachment against The Powers That Be, 2010-2020s style.

+++

2024: the upcoming presidential elections in the US must bring change, I thought.

And they did. DJT won in November. And he said: I will now take down the Deep State...!

That was a different rhetoric from last time. Details aside, DJT was now more driven. He was now having more authority to really battle evil in the form of "weaponized wokeness", the oppressive agenda of mass immigration, vx, and a nihilist-modernist cultural climate.

+++

The focus in this article is on the spiritual significance of DJT's role.

I personally made a stance in mid-November, trying to outline the mindful meaning of DJT. And I did it by writing this on the blog, saying that the struggle of DJT against his opponents is a fight between good and evil.

For instance I said that DJT is an instrument of God, an avenging angel.

+++

I had been led to this conclusion by some private deliberation. And some internet research, like mentioning "the Hopi prophecy of 1972", which speaks of "the Man in the Red Hat"... well, there you have that MAGA golf hat DJT is wearing... it's mythical now.

Links then, we need links...! the reader says.

I'll get to that. However, I give no link to "Hopi" though, since I didn't give that in my November text either. But you can google Hopi prophect of 1972.

Now, regarding the spiritual resource Kab, we can give you links.

The man named Kab aka. Kabamur... has some interesting info about the situation... and he says that D. J. Trump is the incarnated solar angel Uriel... the Archangel of transformation... in other words, the archangel of change... yea, change, what we are seeing unfolding IRL right now...

This was said in a tweet... and on his webpage, with pertinent illustrations of Uriel and DJT side by side, we read, "Many Have A Difficult Time Understanding Donald Trump Is The Identity Chosen By Archangel Uriel!"

+++

Further, referred to by someone else on Twitter, Alacon, Kab says this about DJT's son, Barron Trump:
"The being known as Master St. Germain is also a TRUMP ... Barron Trump will be revealed to be one of the brightest minds on the planet. A leader in the coming age of New Atlantis." – Kabamur (January 22, 2018)
As you see, I refer to stuff said on the net by a spiritual wiseman. Because I see this as pointers to how it is.

It explains the state of things, the state of DJT, the state of Barron Trump.

It explains their behavior.

+++

As I already have figured out, DJT is the instrument of God... an avenging angel... as I wrote in Swedish on this blog in November last year... see link... and to this we have the incarnation, as his son, of the spirit who used to be revolution era mystic St Germain...

I say, rejoice, man...

And again, these are exceptional times... 2025 will be like nothing on earth.

+++

Let's have a closer look at the solar angel aspect of DJT. Of him being Uriel incarnate.

DJT, as a person, is rather solar.

He builds palaces of gold and marble.

His rhetoric is shaped by figures like "golden age" and "saved by God".

This has got to be underlined.

For, as a contrast, I just saw someone saying that Trump was a trickster, like pagan jotun figure Loki. Said in a Swedish blog.

But I say, Loki is nowhere near the Trump gestalt. Loki has nothing of DJT's shining aura.

Further, Loki has no temple. But Trump has Mar-a-Lago. And other monumental structures like Trump Tower.

Go into the lobby of Trump tower and see the marble-and-gold of divine splendor... go there and figure.

Loki is divisive. Like today's left and even mainstream right politicians. Creating chaos, war, division. Trump, on the other hand, makes peace.

This is far from the dark aura of the Loki figure.

+++

Then you might say: Trump is a blunt, unsmiling man. Not a nice guy.

What defines DJT is the rough, tough guy persona. An uncharming fellow.

He can't be "divine, an instrument of God"... divine avatars are meant to be nice.

But this, serendipitoulsy, clarifies another aspect debated today: the question of whether DJT might be the Antichrist.

The Antichrist, told of in the Bible, is, however, a charming, suave fellow, making everybody like him at first.

Absolute contrary to the DJT type we know.

In short, an archangel isn't nice...! Not from an everyday, human perspective.

+++

The archangel strain has another aspect.

On on 30 September 2024, before the election, DJT tweeted this, an epic prayer:
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
A divine figure like an archangel or an avatar might well preach. In The Book About Krishna, Prabhupâda mentions how Krishna begins the day by praying in silence to God, which here would mean Vishnu.

No contradiction in that.

DJT, in his essential angelic mood, prayed to Archangel Michael.

Have you heard about him, Archangel Michael, divine force of retribution...?

Sword in hand, defeating evil on a cosmic scale.

DJT is now, on earth, IRL, doing this.

+++

The thing making this divine strain of DJT complete is, as intimated, that his son Barron might be Saint Germain incarnate. See above.

I've personally blogged about St Germain before. In this post (in English) I said that he was the oft-mentioned mystic, alchemist, and expert musician of the French revolution era. Before this, his spirit had incarnated as Merlin the Magician. This explains the nature of Barron Trump, why he looks so confident.

DJT will pave the way for his son to be a New Age leader.

DJT will do the avenging, punishing, war-like stuff of defeating the Deep State, in all its aspects.

Then, with all the bad guys executed or in jail, the stage would be clear for the spriritual raising of mankind. In this pattern, Barron Trump can be a crucial New Age preacher and teacher, a "world teacher" of the kind Annie Besant envisioned for Krishnamurti.

That was in the 1910s and 1920s. The time wasn't ripe for that kind of mindfulness then. But it is now.

+++

So then, a little summarizing Q and A about DJT...

Is he the Antichrist? -- No.

Is he a trickster, like Loki? Is he a clown? -- No.

Is he a new Caesar? -- Maybe, but that's an insufficient simile.

'Coz if DJT represents anything, it's solar-angelical power of transformation.

In short, DJT could be archangel Uriel incarnate.

And his son has the potential for new age teaching and preaching.

Barron Trump was Saint Germain... an alchemist, a gold maker... and now he's reborn as the son of a man, DJT, building palaces of gold... and speaking of a coming golden age...

There you go. Say what you want, but we are living in unusual times.

The upcoming Evola book: update 2

My next book is nearing its completion. God willing, later this spring it will be in bookstores. -- Edit April: the book is out now.

Earlier this month we posted update 1, mentioning this book as being "in the pipe". -- And here is info in Swedish, with additional intresting links.

It still is in the proverbial pipe. And the production is going forth with verve and pizzazz.

A few more details of the character of the upcoming work can be given.

+++

The research is mainly based on Evola's own works. Like Arte Astratta, Tiger, Rivolta, Ruins, Pagan Imperialism, Path of Cinnabar, Metaphysics of War, Meditations on the Peaks, et cetera et cetera.

Beyond that, especially one academic study, summarizing aspects of Evola's life, has been used: H. T. Hansen's 100-page foreword to Men Among the Ruins, the Inner Traditions-edition from 2002.

Hansen's text is mostly an enlightening philosophical overview.

But it lacks the traditional angle -- and this, I humbly say, is where my book comes in.

The upcoming Evola study will have a sort of inclination towards Tradition™, perennialism, primordial thought. That which Evola got from Guénon. And which completed his, Evola's, "Nietzschean Buddhism" into something more durable and profound.

+++

Moreover, a figure rather often occuring in the book is Ernst Jünger.

In one chapter I even compare the two, Evola and Jünger. Like them both being radicals of the mid-war period and later becoming paragons of conservatism.

I have the erudition to do this comparison since I'm also an expert on Jünger. See this volume. As I intmate in the new book, Jünger was rather wise and readable, but he lacked that perennial connection, that intitiated strain of Evola. Jünger falls short of the liberating influence of Eastern philosophy that does wonders to Evola's creed.

Jünger remains an icon for a radical conservative. No doubt about that. But Evola has a more lasting doctrine, a thought creating a richer esoteric tapestry.

+++

I could go on and on about Evola's beneficial opus. But that would be redundant. You can read all about it in the finished book. Which, so help med God, will be out later this spring.

I TEKNOHORDENS SKUGGA.

Stellar Storm: some background

This is about my sf novel, Stellar Storm. -- Spoiler alert: below I disclose how the war in question ends, so don't read this if you want to get the conclusion from the novel itself.

The book's page on Amazon.com.

Page for the e-book on Amazon.com.

For Swedish customers: the paperback to be bought on Amazon.se.

Stellar Storm was published in 2023.

It tells the tale of a galactic war. Briefly put: in the 2500s man has created a space empire. It is a thriving, Faustian state, with rule of law and meritocracy as the basic ideals.

However, in the year of 2559 this empire is attacked by an alien being, the Saurian. This is the beginning of a war lasting until 2568.

+++

The timeline for this saga is as follows. First we have the early days of space exploration, like this:

2000s – beginning of man’s exodus into space from Earth. As the prime endeavor, Mars is terraformed and colonized, making it into the first sizeable space colony. Then Venus goes the same way.
2092 – the treaty of Charta Mundi secures the existence of every people in its place of origin. The treaty soon becomes the basis of a state, the Charta Mundi State, a republican statehood encompassing Earth, Mars, and Venus.
2100s – colonization of four nearby solar systems, symbolized by the planets Jannoka, Gundur, Bononsia, and Cressida. The conquests are led by the Swedish hero Mikael Rogesmatt (2127-2219), and the acronym of his name forms the stem of the label for the emerging interstellar state – Mirotania – that is, MI plus RO plus a suffix typical of country names, TANIA (like “Occitania, Tasmania, Pennsylvania” etc.). Another figure putting his stamp on the times is adept Nanvel Storness, 2103-2198, a perennial mystic.
2234 – Treaty of Skirodsa, founding the Mirotanian Empire by the principles of rule of law, habeas corpus, and the freedom of life, liberty and expression. The Imperial citizens’ rights and obligations were delineated in the treaty text, forming the Mirotanian Constitution, also stating that the Empire would be ruled by a President elected every four years, have an Assembly to assist in ruling the Empire, and be protected by a space fleet and an army. The various solar systems of the Empire – M-1, M-66, M-78 etc. – would be governed by stattholders, elected every four years.

That was the political and astrographical background.

Next, a major event in this space opera is the career of Sweyn Bostron, a Faustian hero of the sf kind. He is the man symbolizing the Saurian War, so to speak. This is the bare-bones plot of Stellar Storm:

2541, 16 December – Sweyn Bostron born on Jannoka in the system M-66.
2559, 2 June – the outbreak of the Saurian War with the space battle of the Abyss, followed by the Saurian attack on man’s empire and the occupying of four of his five solar systems.
2559, August – Bostron called up into the Mirotanian army.
2564, March – Satapas and Avoosl raids.
2565, 10 May – Mirotania joins the interstellar Federation of Clinsians, Sideranians, Attarcanians and Igoziliacs.
2565, 21 October – Battle of Elkopeiru Gap.
2566 – Dirosa Montel re-elected as president on a plank calling for the build-up of a one-million-man army.
2567, 4 April – Federation landing on Cressida.
2567, September – surrender of last Saurian units on Cressida.
2567, November – space battle of Fnagert.
2567, December – Federation takes Boney in M-31, the Saurian home system. Bostron graduates from the Imperial War Academy as Second Lieutenant.
2568, January – Federation landing on Duriko-Da, the Saurian heartland.
2568, 12 March – surrender of all Saurian armed forces.
2568, 17 July, Galactic Federation signing a peace treaty with Ressibatia, officially ending the Saurian War.

There you go. Get a grip of the whole saga in the novel at hand, Stellar Storm.

This book is rather unique. It is the first space fiction novel with a radical conservative outlook. This is a Faustian saga, a saga of Faustian man breaking free of Earth and creating a blessed livelihood on Mars, and among the stars.

Good old days: the pod about Sf from the Right: from 2017, still online

This pod episode was made in 2017. Sf from the right on RedIce.

This is about my book about sf from 2016. It is about taking a fresh angle at science fiction... by seeing it from a radical-conservative standpoint.

And, in 2017, a pod interview was done. This one.

In this discussion Henrik Palmgren of Red Ice interviewed me, Lennart Svensson, author of "Science Fiction Seen from the Right". We talked about books like Starship Troopers, Dune, The Lord of the Rings and 1984, all of it with an inclination towards conservatism and traditionalism.

So the classics were covered. The books you know. LotR and the rest. But we also dug into a dark horse like C. S. Lewis's That Hideous Strength from 1945. This kind of topped it off, giving you that extra mile, extra worth, extra effort.

+++

Ever since I was a young boy I’ve loved Tolkien, Heinlein, Dune... and in the show at hand I could tell you more about my fantastic findings.

The program's own presentation of the show:

“Lennart Svensson ... joins us to discuss right-wing themes in science fiction. We first consider the fact that contemporary science fiction often comes from a left-wing perspective. Lennart explains that his work, therefore, seeks to remedy this situation. We then explore right-wing themes in a few popular works of science fiction and fantasy, including Starship Troopers, Dune, The Lord of the Rings, and The Hideous Strength. The first hour also touches on relationship between technology and science, with Lennart advocating a spiritualized view of technology as a means to resist lapsing into materialistic nihilism.”

Here is the show.

+++

Typ "Fleet Car White" for den vanliga-tråkiga vit.

+++

Mango-orange kalldes tillexempel "Go Mango" (ordlek på "go, man go!").

Sassy Green

Top Banana

Plum Crazy

På sajten DodgeGarage nämns även förkastade färgnamn inom Chryslerkoncernern, många väldigt lustiga ordvitsar, såsom "Catch Me Copper, Unforeseeable Fuchsia, Hi-Ho Silver, Well-Red, Cost of Living Rose, Fisher Body Rust, Frank Lloyd White".

+++

+++

Ram Trucks:

Copperhead Pearl
Western Brown
True Blue
Black Gold
Prairie Pearl Coat
Case IH Red
Construction Yellow

Cadillac:

Opulent Blue
Silver Coast
Glacier Blue
Mocha Steel
Radiant Silver
Sapphire Blue
Black Ice

Ford:

Blue Flame
Tuxedo Black
Blue Jeans
Green Envy
Storm Grey
Performance Blue
Gotta Have It Green

Chevrolet:

Blue Granite
Tungsten Metallic
Blue Topaz

BMW:

Tanzanite Blue
Moonstone Metallic
Deep Sea Blue
Mojave Metallic
Space Gray

Mercedes-Benz:

Dolomite Brown
Iridium Silver
Palladium Silver
Lunar Blue
+++

En predikan över Metaphysics of War (2011)

En drömtung lovsång över Ride the Tiger (1961)

En diskussion om The Doctrine of Awakening (1943)

Fler nyheter om denna bok följer här. I sinom tid.

"Science Fiction From the Right" came out in 2016... now, in 2025, I want to talk about it again

This is about a book. Written by me, published in 2016. I've mentioned it before. Now for a current summation.

Traditions, the ways of our fathers, the timeless values – are these compatible with spaceships, techno citites and an environment characterized by change? [p. 10]
That's the crux: sf has always been obsessed by "change". However, deep down, sf also has conservative strains, like hailing order and hierarchy. Traditional values can rather easily be found in sf. This is the angle I have in my book, examining 20th century fantastika. The foundation of the book is the four first chapters, treating (early) Heinlein, Frank Herbert, Tolkien, and C. S. Lewis. These guys are effortlessly conservative in their outlook. Then I move on and look at other 20th century sf/f authors from the aspect of traditional values. The 378 pages also give room for chapters of sf films, sf comics, and the development of the genre at large.

The title of the book is Science Fiction Seen From the Right. It was published in 2016 by Manticore. And it's still in print. All links to online markets is given in this post, where the book also gets a further presentation.

+++

I've covered the book from diverse angles in previous posts.

Like this one, stressing the role of Robert A. Heinlein in the book.

And this one, making "right-wing sf" into a timeline.

And this one, heading "towards an understanding of right-wing sf":

+++

Over the years, this book has gained rather a lot of attention.

First we had the site Counter-Currents in November 2016. For instance, it wrote: “With a title like Science Fiction from the Right, one can consider this an automatic purchase for anyone on the Alt Right.”

Then the book was picked up by Red Ice Radio, in the spring of 2017. An episode was made. Henrik Palmgren invited me to talk about the book. And I did. It became a fine, comprehensive treatment, a minor classic in the land of pods, I'd say.

+++

The Red Ice episode: we talked about books like Starship Troopers, Dune, The Lord of the Rings, and 1984, all of it with an inclination towards conservatism and traditionalism.

So the classics were covered. The books you know. LotR and the rest. But we also dug into a dark horse like C. S. Lewis's That Hideous Strength from 1945. This kind of topped it off, giving you that extra mile, extra worth, extra effort.

The program's own presentation of the show reads like this:
Lennart Svensson ... joins us to discuss right-wing themes in science fiction. The first hour also touches on relationship between technology and science, with Lennart advocating a spiritualized view of technology as a means to resist lapsing into materialistic nihilism.
Here you will find the episode, still online after all these years.

+++

The book has been covered in more instances. Like, in 2020/2021 two Swedish pod episodes were made about the book. The pod's editor was one Mr. Råbock, aka. Mohamed Omar. The episodes aren't online anymore. But it was, all things considered, an energetic look into the world of right-wing sf, triggered by my book.

Finally, I only have to add this of the reception of the book, namely, what an Amazon.com review said: "As advertised. Very satisfied. Thank you."

All told, the book has created interest, a certain buzz. It's got dazzle, allure, "it". Unique among sf studies it looks at sf from the right, from the perspective of eternal values such as faith, will, truth, responsibility. This is the way for me to talk about any sf author, from Jünger to van Vogt, from Heinlein to Tolkien, from Borges to E. R. Burroughs. All this, and H. R. Giger, await you in the 378 pages of this modern classic.

In other words, it's time to see sf from a right-wing perspective. Time for a little "paleo-conservatism" among the stars...!

New book in the pipe

Good morning. -- Edit April: the book is out now.

A new book by me is on the way.

It is currently in pre-production. And, God willing, it will surface later this spring.

It will be about Italian philosopher, artist, and mountanineer Julius Evola.

I won't say much about the content right now. However, to give you some idea of the product a text on the blog comes in handy. It was published in 2023. And with some editing, it might appear in the book: a discussion of Evola's superman concept.

Also, we have this on the blog: a look at Evola's forgotten masterpiece, Pagan Imperialism of 1928.

Stay tuned, more news will follow...!
